URC Cost

URC Automation is dedicated to providing the best equipment at the lowest price to the customer, while making a reasonable profit.

We use quality components from Motoman,  FANUC Robotics, PHD, GE FANUC, Parker IPS, Applied Robotics, Cooper Power Tools and others.

Using quality products translates to robot cells with minimal downtime.  If a component does need replacement, it is easily sourced by URC or the end user.

We use quick disconnect plugs on all electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic connections.  If a component fails, it is quickly replaced and your cell is up and running.

URC System Pricing

Customers with fabrication capabilities may wish to provide some of the materials or sub-assemblies to URC for their robot cell. Some assemblies may include the cutting tools, tool clamping blocks for the tool changer, fixture table, mobile base and safety enclosure. In the event that the customer wants to provide these assemblies, URC will provide the engineering drawings for fabrication and deduct the appropriate amount from the price. Customer assumes responsibility of warranty for the items that they supply.  URC Automation retains ownership of these designs and the Customer cannot use them without written permission or compensation to URC Automation.

Through-out this web-site, we've tried to indicate the approximate cost of the systems when they were purchased new by our customers.

None of the following prices includes taxes, shipping or travel expenses.

General

Installation expenses are billed at 0.40/mile, $60/hr travel time, hotel, and $40/day per diem.  Programming (when not included in the price) is $95/hr.

When a system includes a robot, the robot is FOB Michigan and generally costs $1000 - $1900 for shipping to URC.  Price is dependant on size and weight of the robot.

After the cell is built and tested, shipping from URC to points within Minnesota for most systems is under $1000.  Price varies to the rest of the country. Can cost from $1500 - $2000 to either coast.

Customer supplies 3-phase power, air and connections to URC equipment.  Installations are 'supervised' by URC and Customer supplies necessary equipment to move robot and assemblies into position.
