Any Angle URC Automation makes slide station 6 axis robot router systems that do secondary operations such as routing and drilling on non-metallic parts. Two linear slide shuttles for operator load and unload.
A safety switch on the door prevents motion of the robot if the door is left open.
The teach pendant overrides the safety switch for part teaching.
HandlingPro off-line programming option with Cell calibration
software to transfer off-line programs to the router. Uses
IGES files. Quick-change tool changer with one router and one drill. Four additional tools can be added.
Built in diagnostics.
High up-time system designed for 24/7 operation.
URC can design and build fixtures for your parts.

URC 6 Axis Robot Routers with Slide StationsStill the best for value and performance! Installation and operator training is included in the 2007 price of $139,500! Click here to see one at a customers site. One of the advantages of this system compared to the mobile and three station system is that the robot can reach underneath the part. The linear shuttles are cantilevered 20 inches allowing the robot to get underneath and remove material from the part. When utilizing both stations at the same time, the operator handling time can be eliminated from the cycle time of the part. Each station can run different programs from the other station. A third fixed station with light curtains can be added to run with one of the slide stations. This option is used when a press is next to the side of the cell and parts need to be directly transferred into the cell. Quick change cutting tools are utilized in all of our Robot Router cells. This allows a very flexible approach for the cutting process. Right angle drills and routers, step drills and a variety of router bits can be utilized to cut almost any plastic part at any angle. Intermediate non-cutting robot motion approaches speeds of 80 in/sec resulting in reduced cycle times. This system cranks out the parts fast! Cutting feed-rates can be easily adjusted. Controlled router feed-rate gives a more consistent part finish and a longer tool life as the operator is not handling the tools. Consumable costs of router and drill bits decrease dramatically when the using the robot to router.
